The delivery didn’t seem like getting a wicket and it wouldn’t have, had Jason Roy not moved from his original place in the crease towards the off side, trying to play a shot towards the fine leg. Instead, if he would have stayed at this place, he could have glanced the fuller-length ball towards deep backward square leg and collected a single. But his casual walk towards the off stump converted the full ball into a yorker and it hit the leg stump to the dismay of a gaping Roya who had to walk back for a well-made 56. 

 

On the first ball of this over, Vyshak had removed Jagadessan to break the opening stand.

Roy has been brilliant so far and in the last over of the powerplay with a spinner in front of him, he has gone berserk and hit three sixes in a row off Shahbaz Ahmed. This has also brought up the fifty for Knight Riders and as I write he has hit yet another six and it has come off the last ball of the powerplay and brought with itself the strategic timeout as well. Roy has moved to 48 off just 20 balls.
