West Indies skipper Rovman Powell played an important knock of 40* off just 19 balls to take his team to a total of 159/5 in the allotted 20 overs in the third T20I of the five-match series at the National Stadium in Providence, Guyana. For India, Kuldeep Yadav picked 3/28 in his four overs.

Apart from Powell, Brandon King (42 off 42), Kyle Mayers (25 off 20) and Nicholas Pooran (20 off 12) were major contributors to the Windies total. However, this is not an unachievable target and the Indian batting unit would aim to chase it down and remain alive in the series.
