WPL LIVE SCORE DC vs RCB Final: Pitch Report of the Feroz Shah Kotla

 

It is pitch number five which is being used for the WPL finale says Charles Dagnell in the official pitch report. The former cricketers also explained that since it is the centre pitch, the square boundaries are 55m, better than the one in the eliminator where one side of the boundary was just 46 metres. The straight boundary is as usual 65m at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground.

 

It is going to be a battle between the bowling of RCB and the batting of DC reckons the England expert who also said that 140-150 with the added pressure of the final is going to be crucial here.

WPL LIVE SCORE DC vs RCB Final: Delhi Capitals’s Road to Finale

 

The Delhi Capitals, like in the inaugural season, made it to the final of this season too without having to play any eliminator. In the first leg which was played in Bengaluru, the Capitals lost the first match on the very last ball thanks to an out-of-the-park strike from Sajana Sanjeevan. 

 

However, the Meg-Lanning-led side made a great comeback as they won four back-to-back matches, beating UP Warriorz, RCB, Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants. They lost by one run to UP Warriorz in one of the games in Delhi and that is the only loss for the side part from the season opener, so far.

WPL LIVE SCORE DC vs RCB Final: Royal Challengers Bangalore's Road to Finale

 

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) would be playing their first-ever final while the Delhi Capitals have already been part of the final in the inaugural season. The road to the final for RCB hasn’t been smooth at all. 

 

The Smriti Mandhana-led side won the first two matches against UP Warriorz and Gujrat Giants at the home stadium of M Chinnaswamy. However, they lost back-to-back matches well, losing out to the inaugural season’s finalist Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals before winning against UP Warriorz and finishing the home leg on a high. 

 

In the Delhi leg of the league, they lost their opening two matches to the Giants and Cpitals. However, when it mattered the most, they beat Mumbai Indians in their last league match to reach the Eliminator and then again in the eliminator, got the better of the defending champions to make it to the final.
