India skipper Rohit Sharma has won the toss against Australia’s Pat Cummins and has decided to bowl first at the Oval in London.

The World Test Championships Final between India and Australia is underway at the Kennington Oval in London.
Travis Head and Steve Smith have had a great first day the office as the Asutralian duoa have so far added 251 and look set to add more runs to this tally. Beginning the third session post Tea, the Indian team was not able to able to pick any wicket and conceded 157 runs in 34 overs. While Head hit his firsr century outside Autralia ti being up his sixth Test ton, Steve Smith got his fifty and is currently batting on 95.
Earlier in the day, India's captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first looking at the overcast conditions. India benefited from that as well with Mohammed Siraj getting the wicket of Usman Khawaja, the highest run-getter for Australia in this cycle of WTC for a duck. Marnus Labuschagne and David Warner went on to add 69 for the second wicket before the latter tried chasing a wide ball down the leg and got caught behind the stumps, brilliantly by KS Bharat off the bowling of Shardul Thakur. This happened just eight balls before Lunch.
Post Lunch, India picked up Labuschagne early via Mohammed Shami and it seemed like the perfect opening for the Indian team to build on and get more wickets. However, Travis Head came out all guns blazing and scored 60* off just 75 balls to shift the momentum completely.
