The Supreme Court today asked the Governor of Goa to hold a floor test in the state assembly on Thursday to determine the majority but refused the request of the Congress party to hold back the swearing in of the new government headed by BJP leader Manohar Parrikar. At a special sitting of the court during the Holi recess, the bench presided over by Chief Justice J S Khehar specified that the only agenda for the session will be the floor test.
