Nearly 4000 personnel will be involved in the counting of votes of Mizoram assembly polls on December 3, said Mizoram Chief Electoral Officer Madhup Vyas
According to the Chief Electoral Officer Office, Mizoram, 81.25 per cent of female voters have been recorded while male voters are recorded at 80.04 per cent
Voting will take place between 7 am and 4 pm in Muallungthu polling station on Friday
Serchhip in central Mizoram registered the highest polling percentage of 84.49, followed by Hnahthial (84.16)
Polling in all the 1,276 polling stations was peaceful, the official said, adding 174 candidates, including 18 women, are in the fray
Earlier, K Sapdanga had announced that the party will not ally with the BJP even if it fails to secure a majority in the coming elections

Voting ended in Mizoram on Tuesday with people casting their ballot to elect their representatives for 40 seats in the state assembly.
The chief minister said that the MNF will be able to form the government on its own without support from any other party
The lowest turnout was recorded in Siaha at 52.02 per cent. Aizawl district (65.06) per cent and Saitual (68.08) also posted lower voting percentages compared to others.
Of the 11 districts, Lawngtlai recorded the highest polling percentage of 39.88 per cent, followed by Khawzawl at 36.98 per cent and Serchhip 36.86 per cent till 11 am
In a post on X, the Congress president said the people of the state want a peaceful, stable, development-oriented government. "Today is the time to choose it," he said
In a bid to distance his party from the saffron party, he said, "We are partners with the NDA at the Centre and our support is primarily issue-based. In the state, we do not have any links or alliance
Over 8.57 lakh voters, including 4.39 lakh women, are eligible to exercise their franchise to decide the electoral fate of 174 candidates
"We expect to get a single-party majority...We are very much confident that ZPM will get the absolute majority seats and form the government," K Sapdanga said
In his message for voters in Chhattisgarh, Modi urged them to be a part of the democracy's auspicious festival by casting their votes in the first round of polls. He congratulated the first-time voter
"I urge our sisters and brothers in Mizoram, especially the youth, to come out and vote in large numbers. Each and every vote will lay the foundation of a developed and prosperous Mizoram," Shah said
