After casting his vote in Sardarpura, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot tells reporters, "People are enthusiastic. There is an undercurrent. People will vote on our governance, our schemes, guarantees... Congress will repeat government in Rajasthan...After today, they(BJP) will not be visible."

After casting his vote, BJP candidate Baba Balak Nath from Tijara slammed the ruling Congress government in Rajasthan, saying that people will vote for the BJP because it is "dedicated" to development and good governance. 
 
The BJP leader told ANI, "It feels great. There is great enthusiasm among people. Citizens of India are 'Bharat Bhagyavidhata'.The people of Rajasthan will vote for the BJP, which is dedicated to the development, good governance and law & order of the state."
 
"People were waiting for the day when they could oust these liars and bring a BJP government back to power in the state," he added.

Polling agent dies of suspected cardiac arrest in Pali district of Rajasthan

A polling agent, Shanti Lal at booth number 47 in the Sumerpur assembly constituency in Pali district of Rajasthan, collapsed at the centre. Lal was rushed to a nearby hospital and then to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Officials suspect he may have suffered cardiac arrest. (PTI)
