Yogi Adityanath sworn in as 21st CM of Uttar Pradesh, 46 others take oath

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, often labelled a firebrand politician for his hard Hindutva stance, Yogi Adityanath, was on Sunday sworn in as the 21st Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Cheered by tens of thousands of supporters, the 21st Chief Minister of the country's most populous state was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Ram Naik.
Dressed in his characteristic saffron robes, Yogi Adityanath walked over to and sought the blessings of BJP veterans L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, as well as Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the Lucknow MP.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of states ruled by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance are also attending the swearing-in ceremony.
