Bharatiya Janata Party workers celebrate the swearing-in of Yogi Adityanath as UP Chief Minister


<p>
	Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, often labelled a firebrand politician for his hard Hindutva stance, Yogi Adityanath, was on Sunday sworn in as the 21st Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.</p>
<p>
	Cheered by tens of thousands of supporters, the 21st Chief Minister of the country&#39;s most populous state was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Ram Naik.</p>
<p>
	Dressed in his characteristic saffron robes, Yogi Adityanath walked over to and sought the blessings of BJP veterans L K &nbsp;Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, as well as Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the Lucknow MP.</p>
<p>
	Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of states ruled by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance are also attending the swearing-in ceremony.</p>
