Actor Ayushmann Khurrana on Monday attended the Pran Pratistha ceremony for the new Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir.
After witnessing it live, Ayushmann briefly spoke to ANI and described the ceremony as a "historic moment."
"It is a historic moment, thank you so much for inviting me here. Everybody should visit this place, it's beautiful," he said.
Notably, the magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.

No fear and terror could shake resolve to build Ram temple in Ayodhya: Shah
Emphasising that the wait and promise of five centuries was fulfilled on Monday with the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Home Minister Amit Shah said many generations sacrificed so much waiting for this moment, but no "fear and terror" could shake the resolve to build the temple again at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.
In a message on 'X', Shah said that today, this resolve has been fulfilled under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and for this, he expressed his gratitude to him from the bottom of his heart.
"On this auspicious day, I also pay my respects to all those great men who kept this struggle and determination alive for centuries, endured many insults and tortures, but did not leave the path of religion," he said.

Sikkim celebrates consecration ceremony at Ram temple in Ayodhya
Sikkim joined the nation in celebrating the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya temple on Monday with Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang leading a procession here.
Thousands of devotees gathered at the M G Marg in front of the Tourism Information Centre in the state capital and watched a live telecast of the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple before bursting into celebrations.
Tamang joined the celebrations and led the procession from Bhanu Uddhyan.
The procession passed through MLA Hostel, Red Panda Chowk and Star Cinema Hall before culminating in front of the Ayodhya Dham Ram Mandir replica at MG Marg where puja was performed and Vedic mantras were chanted by priests.

Billionaires, tech titans and business leaders on Monday joined in celebrating the inauguration of the Ram temple at Ayodhya as corporate India gave leaves to staff and organised special prayers to mark the consecration.
Billionaire Mukesh Ambani and his family as well as steel tycoon Lakshmi N MIttal, telecom czar Sunil Bharti Mittal, Reliance Group head Anil Ambani and Aditya Birla group chairperson Kumar Mangalam Birla and his daughter Ananya Birla were among the businessmen in Ayodhya for the consecration of Ram temple.
Ambani's oil-to-telecom conglomerate gave all its employees a leave, organised special puja at over a dozen temples housed in premises across the country, and offered 360-degree virtual tour to the temple on JioTV.

As a festive spirit prevailed in Ayodhya, there was an emotional outpouring among residents of the holy city as the consecration of the new idol of Ram Lalla was held on Monday and said they indeed feel they are living in a 'divya' (divine) Ayodhya, 'navya' (new) Ayodhya and 'bhavya' (grand) Ayodhya".
Krishnanath Singh, a school teacher and a regular morning walker to the Ram temple, said the temple is three kilometres from his house.
"Now our Ayodhya has become a 'divya' Ayodhya, 'navya' Ayodhya and a 'bhavya' Ayodhya," Singh told PTI.

Tripura celebrates Ayodhya Ram temple consecration with special prayers, processions
Special prayers at various temples were held and processions were taken out in Tripura on Monday as part of the celebrations of the Ram Mandir consecration in Ayodhya.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha performed a special 'yagna' at the Durgabari here.
"Today, a 500-year-old wait has ended with the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. With this the country has begun its journey towards Ram Rajya", the chief minister told reporters.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi deserves to be applauded by Ram Bhakts. The prime minister has been trying to meet the people's basic needs and we are also trying to serve the people in the best possible way. This is called good governance or sushan", he said.
