Sebi orders attachment of bank, demat accounts of DHFL's ex-promoters
Securities and Exchange Board of India has ordered the attachment of bank accounts as well as shares and mutual fund holdings of Dheeraj Wadhawan and Kapil Wadhawan, the former promoters of Dewan Housing Finance Corp Ltd (DHFL), to recover dues totalling over Rs 22 lakh. This development comes after the brothers failed to pay the fine imposed on them by the markets regulator in July last year in a case concerning the flouting of disclosure norms.

Bombay HC quashes Look-Out Circulars issued against Rhea Chakraborty
The Bombay High Court on Thursday quashed the Look Out Circulars (LOCs) issued against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother and father by the CBI in connection with its probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. CBI's advocate Shreeram Shirsat requested the bench to stay the operation of its order for a period of four weeks so that the agency could file an appeal in the Supreme Court. The HC bench, however, refused to stay its order. Sushant Rajput was found dead in his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14, 2020.
