Alleged intoxicated passenger misbehaves with IndiGo crew on flight, arrested at Bengaluru airport
A passenger on board an IndiGo flight from Jaipur to Bengaluru who was allegedly intoxicated and misbehaved with crew members despite multiple warnings was arrested, police said on Monday. After landing on November 17, the 32-year-old passenger was handed over to the police at the Kempegowda International Airport here, a senior police officer. "Based on the complaint received from IndiGo, we registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the passenger. He was later released on bail," he added.

The Uttarakhand government will bear the travel, food and lodging expenses of relatives of the 41 workers trapped at the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi district for over a week. Assuring the families of the trapped workers that they will be rescued soon, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday said officials have been asked to stay in touch with the relatives of the trapped workers so that they do not face any inconvenience. The state government will bear the expenses of people who want to visit Silkyara to enquire about their well being, he said.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Sharad Pawar faction MLA and former state minister Rajesh Tope said that a request letter was written to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde regarding the release of water from the reservoir of the upper Godavari valley dam into the Jayakwadi dam to address the acute water shortage in the region. The former state minister took to X on Sunday and said, "Today at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a request statement was given to the Chief Minister Eknath ji Shinde, regarding the release of water from the reservoir of the upper Godavari valley dam group into the Jayakwadi dam." The former state minister also said that Marathwada is likely to continue protests by the Marathwada Pani Parishad (MPP), an umbrella body representing water rights activists and farmers.

The Bhartiya Janata party put up posters mocking the Congress' six guarantees outside the Gandhi Bhawan in Hyderabad. This comes days after the Congress released its 'Abhyas Hastam' manifesto which constituted of six guarantees.
