ED conducts searches at multiple places in Kolkata in school jobs scam
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday conducted searches at multiple places in Kolkata and its neighbourhood in connection with its investigation into the school jobs scam, officials said.
Among the places being searched by the investigators is an office of a private company in the posh New Alipore area in the southern part of the city, they said.

A fire broke out at a biscuit-making factory in Kharagpur in West Bengal's Paschim Medinipur district on Monday morning, officials said.

Chhattisgarh: Woman Congress MLA attacked with knife, accused held
A woman Congress MLA has sustained injuries after a boy allegedly attacked her with a knife in Rajnandgaon district's Jodhra village, police said.
The accused was arrested and a probe is underway, they said, adding the incident took place in the Jodhra village on Sunday when Congress MLA Chhanni Chandu Sahu was attending a public function.
India levies high taxes, would return favour if voted to power: Trump
