	The Manipur government has extended the curfew relaxation period by one hour in Imphal East and West districts in view of improvement in law and order situation, an official statement said. The curfew relaxation period in the twin Imphal districts was now from 5 am to 8 pm. Separate orders issued by the office of the district magistrates of the two districts said that &quot;there is a considerable improvement in law and order and there is a need to relax the restriction of movement to facilitate general public to purchase essential items including medicines and food items&quot;.</div>

NESO delegation on three-day visit to Manipur, to meet community leaders

	A delegation of the North East Students&#39; Organisation (NESO) reached Manipur for a three-day tour, during which it will visit relief camps to meet the victims of the ethnic clashes. The 19-member delegation to Manipur is led by NESO president Samuel B Jyrwa, secretary general Mutsikhyo Yhobo and chief adviser Samujjal Kumar Bhattacharjya. Parliament monsoon session: Lok Sabha adjourned for the day amid protests over situation in Manipur

Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day on Wednesday as opposition members continued with their protests on the Manipur issue even as Speaker Om Birla, upset at the repeated disruptions in the House, skipped the proceedings. As the House assembled for the post-lunch session, the opposition members trooped into the well of the House and raised slogans demanding a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the situation in Manipur, which has been roiled by months-long ethnic violence.
