The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Thursday mpox was no longer a global health emergency, ending a nearly year-long alert for the viral disease that led to confirmed cases in more than hundred countries.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan Thursday declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's arrest "illegal" — a major relief for the deposed prime minister who was arrested two days back in a corruption case from the premises of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Pakistan's Supreme Court on Thursday ordered that former Prime Minister Imran Khan be presented before the court in an hour, broadcaster Dunya TV reported.
