Patanjali case: Have to abide by undertaking given to court, you have broken every barrier, says SC to Ramdev

Yoga guru Ramdev and managing director of Patanjali Ayurved Acharya Balkrishna on Tuesday appeared before the Supreme Court in connection with the show cause notices issued as to why contempt proceedings would not be initiated against them. The court had summoned Ramdev and Balkrishna after taking exception to the company's failure to respond to the notice issued in the case relating to advertisements of the firm's products and their effectiveness.

News update: 40 passengers injured as bus overturns in MP

Nearly 40 passengers were injured when a private bus overturned near Madhya Pradesh's Morena town early morning today, an official said. The incident took place between 1:00 am and 2:00 am when the passengers were heading to the Mehandipur Balaji Temple in Rajasthan from Gwalior in MP.

Vistara flight cancellations: Vistara may cancel 60 flights today

Vistara, after canceling approximately 50 flights the previous day, is anticipated to cancel around 60 flights on Tuesday, according to sources cited by The Times of India. As per PTI sources more flights are expected to be cancelled on Tuesday and the number could go up to 70.

Five killed, three critical after dumper rams into auto in Chitrakoot

Five persons were killed and three injured todayy when a speeding dumper rammed into an autorickshaw in Chitrakoot, police said. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, police added.

Patanjali Ayurved’s Cofounder Ramdev is expected to appear in person to face the Supreme Court today over Patanjali Ayurved's "misleading advertisements". The top court had earlier summoned  Ramdev and Patanjali Ayurved's Managing Director Acharya Balkrishna to appear before it, seeking an explanation from them on why contempt proceedings should not be initiated for violating its orders prohibiting misleading advertisements.
