Two injured as bombs hurled in Sambalpur, Odisha

Criminals hurled crude bombs that hit a parked motorcycle at Pirbaba Chhak in Town police station area on Tuesday night.  The splinters injured two persons standing near the vehicle. "The injured persons are out of danger. The situation is under control and a detailed probe is underway," Sambalpur Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Bhamoo told reporters.

Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Centre will consider revoking the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act in Jammu and Kashmir. In an interview with the JK Media Group, the home minister said: "We have plans to pull back troops and leave law and order to the Jammu and Kashmir Police alone. Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir police was not trusted but today they are leading the operations."
