News update: New NEET PG exam dates announced; to be held on August 11

After a huge fracas over the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) examination recently,  the exam will be conducted on August 11 in two shifts. The examination was initially scheduled for June 23, but it was postponed on the eve of the date by the Health Ministry as a precautionary measure in the wake of the controversy on the integrity of entrance exam.

Justice Manmeet P S Arora, while dealing with a lawsuit by Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation which markets products under Amul brand, further restrained the customer from posting and uploading any other identical or similar content on social media platforms until further orders.

A bench of justices JB Pardiwala and Ujjal Bhuyan made these remarks on July 3 when it was hearing the bail plea of an accused whose trial has been on pause for the last four years. "Criminals are not born out but made," the SC said. It added that the human potential in everyone is good and so, never write off any criminal as beyond redemption. "This humanist fundamental is often missed when dealing with delinquents, juvenile and adult," the court said.
