The top court reserved its judgment on a plea of Shajan Skaria, who runs YouTube channel Marunadan Malayali, challenging the denial of anticipatory bail to him by the Kerala High Court in a criminal case lodged by MLA P V Sreenijin. Sreenijin had filed FIR for offences under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act against Skaria alleging that he had intentionally humiliated the lawmaker by making false allegations and accusations through a video uploaded on 'Marunadan Malayali'.

All 15 trapped in collapsed lift at Rajasthan mine rescued, 1 feared dead
All 15 Hindustan Copper Limited officials who had been trapped in a mine in Neem ka Thana district since last night were taken out Wednesday, with one of them is feared dead, an official said. Collector Sharad Mehra said 14 rescued were sent to SMS hospital in Jaipur for treatment and one was taken to a company hospital for examination as he is feared dead.
