RBI recieves threat mail, message sent to Governor's email ID in Russian

The Reserve Bank of India has received an email, threatening to blow up the bank's Mumbai office with explosives. The threat comes just days after Sanjay Malhotra took charge as the 26th Governor of the Reserve Bank, replacing Shaktikanta Das who left office after six years. Malhotra served as an IAS officer from the Rajasthan cadre.

Two drug peddlers detained under NDPS Act in J-K's Kathua

Two suspected drug peddlers, including a woman, were imprisoned under stringent the NDPS Act in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, police said on Friday. Gurnam Singh alias Katta of Chak Drab Khan and Asha Bibi of Khanpur-Marheen were habitual drug peddlers and their detention warrants under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act were issued by the Jammu divisional commissioner to prevent their illegal activities, a police spokesperson said.

4-storey building partially collapses in Mumbai''s Bhendi Bazar
