AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday upped the ante against the BJP-led central government over the "deteriorating" law and order situation in Delhi and claimed that the city was being called the country's "crime capital" as he cited the recent bomb threats to numerous schools as well as the IGI airport. "It's so shameful that under your watch, our grand capital due to failure of law and order is being called rape capital, gangster capital, drug capital," Kejriwal said.

Bihar PSC exam paper leaks ''state-sponsored'', alleges Tejashwi

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has charged Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with "maintaining silence" over alleged irregularities in a PSC examination, claiming that recent question paper "leaks" in such competitive tests were "state-sponsored".

In a video statement late on Friday, Yadav also accused Kumar of "failing" to communicate with job aspirants who staged protests over the alleged paper leak in the 70th CCE 2024, conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission.

Indigo flight bound for Jeddah makes emergency landing in Karachi

An IndiGo flight en route to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was on Saturday forced to make an emergency landing at the Jinnah International Airport in Pakistan's Karachi city following a medical emergency onboard. The aircraft, which departed from New Delhi, was in Pakistani airspace when a male passenger fell seriously ill.

According to Geo News, the passenger was a 55-year-old Indian man.

Man wanted in 10 criminal cases killed in encounter with Bihar STF, policeman injured

A person wanted in more than 10 criminal cases, including bank dacoities, in Bihar and Haryana was killed in an encounter with police in Patna district, a senior officer said on Saturday. Akash Yadav alias Ajay Rai was killed in Jakkanpur area in an exchange of fire between Special Task Force (STF) personnel of the state police and members of a criminal gang on Wednesday night, the officer said.

The ED has restituted assets worth Rs 4,025 crore of the erstwhile Bhushan Steel and Power Limited to JSW Steel following approval from the Supreme Court, the federal probe agency said on Saturday. JSW Steel was the successful resolution applicant to the assets of the insolvent company under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) of the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
