Delhi's Dwarka Expressway to get 'free flow' toll system for smooth rides

The Dwarka Expressway in New Delhi will soon implement a ‘free flow tolling’ system which would eliminate physical toll plazas. The system will utilise advanced FASTag readers and high-power cameras installed on overhead gantries to automatically deduct tolls from vehicles moving at speeds up to 100 kilometres per hour. Security forces making all-out efforts to rescue two missing youths: Manipur Police

Security forces in Manipur are making all-out efforts to trace two of the three youths, who were allegedly abducted by armed men in Manipur's Kangpokpi district three days ago, police said on Monday. One of the three youths has already been rescued. Accompanied by his two friends, N. Johnson Singh, who was rescued by the army, went for the SSC GD recruitment test for central forces at New Keithelmanbi in Manipur's Imphal West district but took a wrong turn, ending up in Kuki-dominated Kangpokpi, a police officer said.

No 'spin-doctoring' can change fact that 2014-24 saw 'jobloss growth': Cong

The Congress on Monday dismissed as "half-truths" the government's assertions of creating eight crore employment opportunities between 2021 and 2024 and 6.2 crore net subscribers joining the EPFO database, and said no "spin-doctoring" can take away from the fact that 2014-24 has seen "jobloss growth".
Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh said that amidst the "U-turns and scandals" that have marked the last few months of this "tottering" government, "the non-biological PM and his drum beaters have tried to find some solace in their economic record, claiming to have created eight crore employment opportunities between 2021 and 2024".

Lokayukta ADGP Chandrashekhar is 'corrupt', alleges HD Kumaraswamy

Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy has slammed Lokayukta ADGP M Chandrashekhar for showing "arrogance" in conducting an inquiry against the staff of the governor's office, alleging that he is receiving protection from "corrupt" officials in the Congress.
 
"What do you say to the uneducated and ignorant? Is it not true that this tainted, criminal-minded officer was also working during my tenure as ADGP of Lokayukta? Some people in this government are asking that. Yes, this officer worked in my government. I won't deny it. However, I did not leave room for anyone to rule the town, roll in the muck, or extort by instilling fear. I made sure to keep them from resorting to immoral practices. Do you Congress ministers have such courage?" the Union Minister questioned.
