Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu allocates portfolios to newly inducted ministers today

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu assigned portfolios to his council of ministers on Saturday. His deputy, Chowna Mein, received the Finance portfolio along with Mama Natung, who was appointed to Home Affairs. The swearing-in of the council of ministers took place on Thursday.  Chief Minister Khandu will handle departments not assigned to the deputy chief minister and other ministers. Biyuram Wahge, BJP state unit president, was given charge of Health & Family Welfare and Water Resources.

Fire breaks out in two factories in Ghaziabad's industrial area

On Saturday, a fire erupted in two factories within an industrial area in Ghaziabad, according to police. No casualties have been reported at this time. Station House Officer Prashant Tyagi stated that the blaze began in a chemical factory in the Tronica City police station area between 9:30 and 10:00 am and subsequently spread to a dry fruits factory. The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.
