Prestige Estate Projects soars over 7% on securing landmark funding

Shares of Prestige Estates Projects soared 7.4 per cent to a high of Rs 1,256 in Monday's intra-day trades on the BSE after the group reportedly secured landing funding for future projects.

At 12:20 pm, the stock was up 6.2 per cent at Rs 1,243, on volumes of around 20,000 shares on the BSE. Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex gained 0.6 per cent at 74,060. Read more

Globus Spirits zooms 11% as co commissions additional capacity at two units

Shares of liquor maker Globus Spirits sprinted as much as 10.7 per cent to Rs 736.4 per share in Monday's intraday deals on the BSE after the company began commercial operations at additional capacity at two existing units. 

At 11:40 AM, the stock was quoting 9.5 per cent higher at Rs 728 per share as against a half a per cent rise in the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex. The stock, however, is still 44 per cent down from its 52-week high level of Rs 1,326 per share. Read more

Toyota Kirloskar sees highest-ever monthly sales at 27,180 units in March

Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Monday reported its highest-ever monthly wholesales at 27,180 units in March.

The company's total dispatches to dealers increased 25 per cent last month to 22,910 units as compared with 21,783 units in March 2023.

For the 2023-24 fiscal the company reported the highest-ever wholesales of 2,63,512 units, an increase of 48 per cent as against 1,77,683 units in 2022-23. Read more

Torrent Power leaps 8% on winning order worth Rs 1,825 crore

Torrent Power shares rallied 8 per cent to Rs 1,463.25 apiece on the BSE in Monday's intraday trade after the company received Letter of Award (LoA) for a Grid-Connected Wind Solar Hybrid Project.

The LoA has been received from Torrent Power Limited-Distribution Unit for setting up of 150 MW (RE Power) hybrid project valued at Rs 1,825 crore. 

At 10:50 AM, the shares were trading 6.3 per cent higher at Rs 1,440 as against 0.6 per cent gain in the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex. Read more

Shares of PNB Housing Finance soared 14.5 per cent to Rs 720.4 per share on the BSE in Monday's intraday deals amid a slew of credit rating upgrades by rating agencies. At 10:08 AM, the shares were quoting 13.2 per cent higher at Rs 712.4 as against 0.68-per cent rise in the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex. 

On March 29, CARE Ratings upgraded PNB Housing Finance's Long Term Bank Facilities, worth Rs 15,600 crore, to 'CARE AA+' from 'CARE AA'. The outlook was changed to 'Stable' from 'Positive'. Read more
