Dr Reddy's weak amid broad pharma gains; report says co looking to buy out Cipla stake with Bain

As per an ET report, private equity firm Bain Capital is in talks with Dr Reddy's to explore a joint bid to buy out Cipla promoter's stake. Dr Reddy's said it can't comment on market speculation.

Cipla firms up on inking deal to acquire consumer health firm Actor Holdings

Cipla's South African subsidiary entered into a binding term sheet to acquire Actor Holdings (Pty), a privately owned pharmaceutical company specialising in consumer health and generic medicine. The consideration has been fixed at ZAR 900 million (approx $48.6 million, or around Rs 400 crore) in cash for 920 equity shares, representing a 100 per cent equity stake.
