Comment:: Fed officials hints on likely pause on rate hikes

Fed Vice Chair Philip Jefferson on Monday told a conference that he would “remain cognizant of the tightening in financial conditions through higher bond yields” in assessing “the future path of policy,” echoing similar comments from other policymakers in recent days.

Dallas Fed president Lori Logan said "there may be less need to raise the fed funds rate" and Fed Vice Chair Philip Jefferson nodded to the need for the central bank to "proceed carefully" with any further increases in the policy rate.
