Stock Market LIVE Updates: India's November month wholesale inflation came in lower than expected.

According to data released on Monday, WPI inflation rose 1.89 per cent year-on-year in November, against a consensus forecast of 2.20 per cent. The reading for November was also lower than the October month print of 2.36 per cent.

That apart, while fuel inflation rose 5.83 per cent in November, from 5.79 per cent in October, the WPI Food index rose only 8.92 per cent in November, compared to a 11.59 per cent rise in the previous month.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Zydus Lifesciences today informed that its wholly-owned subsidiary Zydus Animal Health and Investments (ZAHL), has sold back its
6.5 per cent stake in Myla Discovery Solutions, to Rising Sun Holding Private Limited (RHSPL), for an agreed sum of Rs 106 crore.

The company, in an exchange filing, said, it's subsidiary had acquired 65,06,500 equity shares in the company on June 23, 2023.

It added, "Now, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the SPA, ZAHL has exercised its Put Option right to sell the Sale Shares back to RHSPL and RHSPL has agreed to acquire the Sale Shares at the original consideration amount i.e. Rs. 106 Crores."

The Board of Directors of ZAHL at their meeting held today i.e. December 16, 2024, approved the disinvestment of Sale Shares, as per the terms and conditions of the SPA.
