Stock Market LIVE Updates: RailTel today informed that it has received an order worth Rs 144.9 crore from the Home Department, Gujarat government, to instal, commission, operate and maintain a CCTV video surveillance system, across various places. 

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "This is to inform that RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received the work order from Home Department, Government Of Gujarat for Project amounting to Rs 1,44,88,48,888 (Including Tax)." 

The company added that the deal involves, "supply, installation, commissioning and operations, maintenance of CCTV Video Surveillance System at various branches, LCB, SoG, cyber police station and LIB and police stations for Cluster 1, 2 and 3."

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Hindustan Unilever or HUL shares slipped 5.6 per cent in trade on Thursday and clocked an intraday low of Rs 2,587.55 per share on BSE. The selling pressure in the stock came after the company's second quarter (Q2FY25) numbers missed the street's estimates.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: In Q2FY25, the company reported a consolidated revenue increase of 1.93 per cent to Rs 15,926 crore YoY, while Ebitda saw a slight decline of 0.1 per cent to Rs 3,793 crore.

The Ebitda margin decreased by 48 bps to 23.81 per cent, and net profit fell by 2.33 per cent to Rs 2,595 crore. Despite a 2.3 per cent year-on-year decline in second-quarter profit, HUL met analysts' estimates and announced an interim dividend of Rs 29 per share. The board also approved the separation of its ice-cream segment due to its limited contribution to profitability.
