Wadekar cited misalignment between the company's offer of a group-level assignment with his personal and professional goals, as reason for tendering his resignation.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Carborundum Universal today announced that it has entered into a share subscription and shareholders’ agreement with Amplus Energy Solutions PTE Limited, Singapore, and Grian Energy Private Limited (GEPL) to invest Rs 8 crore in GEPL, aggregating to 4.19% in its equity capital.

The investment is for Carborundum to access the contracted capacity of around 10 MW in the captive power plant of GEPL. 

The Company had also entered into a power purchase agreement with GEPL for the purchase of electricity generated by the plant for its captive consumption, the company said in an exchange filing.
