Stock Market LIVE Updates: Derivatives Market Insights for Tuesday: The Nifty January futures declined merely 0.4 per cent in the last two trading sessions. The open interest (OI), however, has risen sharply by nearly 11 per cent primarily on account of fresh short bets by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in the futures & options segment.

 

The data from the NSE shows that FIIs added 31 per cent i.e. over 40,550 contracts on the short side in Nifty futures in the last two trading sessions. They net sold 60,800 contracts of Nifty futures in the last three trading sessions, which included some long unwinding. Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Ramco Cements today informed that it has disposed of non-core assets, including a land parcel, for Rs 67.65 crore. 

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "Today, our Company has executed a sale agreement for disposal of lands for a consideration of Rs.67,64,86,800". 

Further, Ramco Cements, which had announced a target of disposing off non-core assets worth Rs 1,000 crore while announcing its Q2FY25 results, said that, it has realised sales of non-core assets worth Rs 443.65 crore so far, which includes shares held by in other companies worth Rs 376 crore.
