At 11 AM, the BSE Sensex was higher by 393.35 points, or 0.50 per cent, at 78,532.36, while the Nifty50 was at 23,745.25, ahead by 100.45 points, or 0.42 per cent.

The surge in SJVN share price came after it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Govt of Bihar in Patna for development of 1000 MW Hathidah Durgawati Pumped Storage Project and other PSPs in Bihar.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Pennar Industries today informed that it has entered into an agreement with Zetwerk Manufacturing Business Pvt. Ltd to form a joint venture company with the intention of manufacturing and selling solar modules.

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "The company has executed a Joint Venture Agreement with Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Private Limited and Others on 31st December, 2024 for incorporation of a Joint Venture company, by way of subscription to the Equity share capital of the Joint Venture Company."

"The Joint Venture company to carry on the business of manufacturing and sale of solar modules including the development and operation of manufacturing unit. The addressable market includes both domestic and international markets," it added.

The company further explained that the shareholding in the proposed Joint Venture company, will see Zetwerk Manufacturing owning a 50.1 per cent stake in the JV company, while Pennar will hold 45 per cent stake, and others will hold 4.9 stake.
