Stock Market LIVE Updates: Overall fundraising from capital markets, including through equity and debt instruments, is estimated to jump by nearly 21 per cent to Rs 14.27 trillion in FY25 from the Rs 11.8 trillion in FY24, Sebi chief Madhabi Puri Buch said on Friday.

The company, in an excange filing, said, "As per the communication received from GAIL (India) Limited (the nodal agency for domestic gas allocation), this is to inform that the domestic gas allocations to IRM Energy Limited have been revised upwards by 29% with effect from January 16, 2025, thus increasing the share of Domestic Gas in CNG Segment from 37% to 51%".

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Senores Pharmaceuticals today informed that it has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for marketing hypertension drug Metoprolol Tartrate and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablet USP, 50 mg/25 mg and 100 mg/25 mg.

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "Senores Pharmaceuticals Limited has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for marketing Metoprolol Tartrate and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablet USP, 50 mg/25 mg and 100 mg/25 mg".

It added that the drug is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. 

According to IQVIATM and Symphony sales data for the 12-month period ending November 2024, the Metoprolol Tartrate and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablet USP, 50 mg/25 mg and 100 mg/25 mg market achieved annual sales of approximately $ 6 million and $ 10 million respectively.

The BSE SmallCap index slipped 2.85 per cent in intra-day trade today. In one week, the index has fallen 6.5 per cent. In comparison, the BSE MidCap and the BSE Sensex are down 5.7 per cent and 2.7 per cent, respectively, during the week. Stock Market LIVE Updates: Private banking company IndusInd Bank shares fell as much as 3.23 per cent to hit an intraday low of Rs 949.20, nearing its 52-week low of Rs 927.05.

Notably, IndusInd Bank share was also the top loser on BSE at the time of publishing this report. 

The downfall in the IndusInd Bank share price came after reports indicated that the New York-based brokerage Goldman Sachs downgraded the stock to ‘Neutral’.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: NTPC today informed that it has signed a Supplymentary Joint Venture Agreement-2 (SJVA-2) with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India on January 9, to amend the joint venture agreement dated April 27, 2010, in respect of formation of a jiont venture company, Anushakti Vidhyut Nigam Limited (ASHVINI) between NTPC and NPCIL.

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "This is to inform that NTPC Limited has signed a Supplementary Joint Venture Agreement-2 (SJVA-2) with Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited on 9 th January 2025... Signing of Supplementary Joint venture Agreement2 (SJVA-2) in order to amend Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) dated 27th April 2010 in respect of formation of a joint venture company Anushakti Vidhyut Nigam Limited (ASHVINI) between NTPC Limited and NPCIL".

The company added that the major amendments include provisions to re-structure NPCIL and NTPC Joint Venture Company, ASHVINI to have shareholding in the ratio of 51:49 for NPCIL and NTPC, respectively. Apart from that, it will also enable the transfer of Mahi Banswara Rajasthan Atomic Power Project (MBRAPP) 4x700 MW from NPCIL to ASHVINI, enhance the Authorised Share Capital from Rs 5 crore to Rs 15,000 crore, and change the number of Directors nominated by NTPC and NPCIL in proportion to their respective shareholding.
