New Delhi, Apr 13 (ANI): In view of hard times for homeless amid coronavirus, Delhi Police picked the needy from streets and shifted them to a nearby shelter home. A special bus was organised to carry the homeless to the Rain Besara. Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced free food and accomodation for the homeless amid difficult times. Coronavirus cases in Delhi have surpassed 1,000 as of April 13.

An earthquake of 4.2 magnitude was recorded in Patan district of north Gujarat on Friday night, the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) said.
While people came out of their houses after feeling the seismic movement, no casualty or loss of property was reported in the region, officials of the state control room in Gandhinagar said.  The quake was recorded at 10:15 pm with its epicentre located 13 km south south-west of Patan, the Gandhinagar-based ISR said.  Reports from northern districts of Banaskantha, Patan, Sabarkantha and Mehsana claimed that tremors were felt for two to three seconds.
The state has suffered nine major earthquakes in the past 200 years including the devastating earthquake of January 26, 2001, in Kutch district, as per the data provided by the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA).

Backed by huge digital infrastructure, India has become the biggest laboratory in the digital world  where one can experiment at a scale, NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam said on Friday.
In his keynote address at Indian School of Business (ISB) here, he said the country is expected to become a USD 30 trillion economy by 2047 surpassing the present size of US and Chinese economies.

As a result, two Vote-on-Account budgets have accounted for the majority of this financial yeareight months in total.
According to the August 1 ordinance by the TDP-led government, the state opted for another Vote-on-Account budget for four months (August to November) due to the new NDA government taking office. The other constituents of the coalition government are Janasena and the BJP.
