COVID-19 outbreak: Patanjali donates RT-PCR machine to Nainital Medical College

Haridwar (Uttarakhand), Mar 26 (ANI): Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has donated a Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) machine for COVID-19 tests to Government Medical College (GMC) in Nainital on March 25. There are total four positive cases of coronavirus found in Uttarakhand so far. Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in India reached 606, including 43 foreign nationals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown in the entire country effective from midnight to deal with the spread of coronavirus on March 24, saying that social distancing is the only option to deal with the disease, which spreads rapidly.
