Manesar (Haryana), Apr 25 (ANI): After high demand, a South Korea's healthcare company, SD Biosensor's has increased manufacturing for rapid antibody test kits for COVID-19 at its Manesar plant.  "We have received orders for rapid antibody test kits from Chhattisgarh and Haryana government. Other products are also under evaluation by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)," said Manesar's Plant Head of SD Biosensor, Anshul Saraswat.

Four Kirloskar companies on Tuesday said they are preparing to legally challenge a letter by markets regulator SEBI asking them to disclose the deed of family settlement that was signed by members of the Kirloskar family on September 11, 2009.
In separate regulatory filings, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd (KFIL), Kirloskar Industries Ltd (KIL), Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd maintained they are not bound by deed of family settlement (DFS) nor does it have any impact or create any restriction or liability on them.
SEBI in a letter dated December 30, 2024 advised the companies to disclose the DFS, entered into amongst the members of the Kirloskar family in their personal capacity, under the SEBI listing obligations and disclosure requirements regulations, they said.

Mumbai Police has registered a First Information Report against the former trustees of the Lilavati Hospital here for alleged cheating to the tune of Rs 85 crore.
The FIR was registered on Monday at Bandra police station on a complaint by current trustee Mohit Suresh Mathur, said an official.
Between 2000 and 2023, "purported trustees" Chetan Vijay Mehta, Rashmi Mehta and Bhavin Mehta allegedly seized control of the trust using fake documents, the complainant claimed.
Money was withdrawn in the name of lawyers' fees, consultation charges and purchase of medicines and allegedly used for personal use, the complaint said.  Mathur had moved a magistrate's court, seeking a direction to police to register an FIR.  On the court's order, the FIR was registered for cheating and criminal breach of trust under relevant Indian Penal Code sections (as alleged offences took place prior to 2024), the police official said, adding that probe was underway. India's nuclear power operator NPCIL on Tuesday invited proposals from the industry to set up 220 MW Bharat Small Reactors for captive use, replacing the existing coal-fired thermal power plants used by the steel, aluminium, copper and cement industries.
Bharat Small Reactors are 220 MW Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) with an impeccable safety and excellent performance record, which are compact and tailored for captive use, according to a statement from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL).
"NPCIL has today invited Request for Proposals (RFP) from visionary Indian  industries for setting up 220 MW Bharat Small Reactors (BSRs) for captive use," said the statement.
The nuclear power operator said BSRs can provide a sustainable solution for decarbonization of hard-to-abate industries.
