West Midnapore (West Bengal), Oct 06 (ANI): An elephant calf was found dead in the Bhadutala forest range in West Bengal's West Midnapore. Forest officials reached the spot to investigate the matter. The body of the calf was taken into custody and was sent for post-mortem. Midnapore Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Rabindranath Saha said, "Reason for death will be known after post-mortem, it may have died for exhaustion as they have to travel from extensive distance or it may have died due to infighting."
