Chengalpattu (Tamil Nadu), February 19 (ANI): Dr. Anand Megalingam, Chief Executive Officer of Space Zone India, called the launch of the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission 2023 calling a "proud moment" on February 19. He gave details about the ‘APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission 2023’ and said that this is the “first hybrid rocket". 150 PICO satellites designed by students were launched from the Pattipolam village of Chengalpattu district in Tamil Nadu. More than 5,000 students from grades six to twelve in different parts of the country were enabled to design and develop 150 PICO satellites Rocket was launched in association with the Martin Foundation, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, and Space Zone India. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, along with school students attended the launch event.
