New Delhi, Apr 15 (ANI): All agricultural and horticultural activities will remain fully functional in the coronavirus lockdown. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued updated consolidated revised guidelines for the containment of COVID19 in the country on April 15 morning, a day after the announcement of extension in the nationwide lockdown. According to the new guidelines, farming operations by farmers and farm workers in field, agencies engaged in procurement of agriculture products, including MSP operations. Mandis' operated by APMC or as notified by the state/Union government will remain fully functional. MGNREGA works have also been allowed with strict implementation of social distancing.
