Electric vehicle maker EKA Mobility on Tuesday said it has secured two orders worth around Rs 150 crore from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) for supply of 70 air-conditioned electric buses.
The orders comprise supply and maintenance of  12-meter 40 and 9-meter 30 AC buses, it said.
These buses will play a key role in enhancing UPSRTC's fleet, the company said.
EKA Mobility said it will also supply chargers to enable smooth operations, adding that both projects include long-term annual maintenance contracts to maintain peak performance for the next 10 years.

Zepto's HR head Martin Dinesh Gomez has resigned, following which the company has reoriented the function as Chief Culture Officer and named Chandan Mendiratta for the post.
Gomez has put in his papers in September and is serving his notice period in the firm, a company spokesperson told PTI.
Mendiratta, Chief Brand Officer at Zepto, will now take on HR function and operational responsibility as the Chief Culture Officer, the spokesperson said.
He will be responsible for employer engagement and branding.
The spokesperson denied media reports of company co-founder Aadit Palicha taking over the HR role.
Before Zepto, Gomez was associated with Amazon for over 11 years. He has also worked with Sapient, Accenture, Microsoft and Thomson Reuters.
The Mumbai-based firm secured USD 350 million in funding in November, which included investments from Indian HNIs, family offices, and leading financial institutions.

As the demand for talent continues to rise, a report on Tuesday revealed that employability among Indian graduates has seen a steady rise, reaching 54.81 per cent as per a recent test.
The employability among graduates for the year is calculated from the Global Employability Test (GET) in the previous year.
In the previous test, employability among Indian graduates stood at 51.25 per cent, according to Wheebox ETS India Skills Report 2025.
"This decade belongs to India as a leader in global talent mobility. This decade must be focused on quality of skills training that shall make a stark difference for international mobility. Long term and internally certified skill programs with embedded language training will be the winning bet to provide early work opportunities. CUET-UG will return to the computer-based format from 2025 and students will be allowed to appear for any subject irrespective of the subjects studied in class 12, according to UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar.
In an interview with PTI, Kumar said an expert panel set up by the University Grants Commission (UGC) conducted a review of the exam and proposed several changes.
The panel examined various aspects of the test, such as its structure, number of papers, duration of test papers, syllabus alignment and operational logistics. The changes recommended by it were approved by the commission in a recent meeting.
"The exam will be conducted only in CBT (computer-based test) mode from 2025. We conducted the exam in hybrid mode last year but we will move to CBT mode because it is much more reliable and secure as compared to other modes of examination.
