Mumbai, Sep 21 (ANI): NCP leader Nawab Malik on Monday said that the Sanatan Sanstha is a terrorist organization and there are various cases of illegal activities against them so it should be banned in Maharashtra just like it was done previously. Malik said that the SIT has done a good job in Govind Parsare's case adding that the organization should be banned. A journalist has also claimed to have been threatened by the organization for his life. He said he received threats from the Sanatan Sanstha on Twitter and also through its mouthpiece Sanatan Prabhat. Last week, the Sanatan Prabhat penned an article warning him on airing his views.

Parle Biscuits has reported a twofold jump in profit at Rs 1,606.95 crore for FY24 while revenue from operations was up 2 per cent to Rs 14,349.4 crore.

Two individuals, including a former employee of Deloitte India, on Monday settled with capital markets regulator Sebi a case pertaining to the alleged violation of insider trading rules by paying Rs 74 lakh towards settlement fee.
Nimai Parekh and Rahil Dalal (applicants) had proposed to settle the matter by neither "admitting nor denying the findings of fact and conclusions of law", Sebi said.
"In exercise of the powers...and in terms of the settlement regulations, it is hereby ordered that any proceedings that may be initiated for the violations are settled in respect of the applicants," Sebi's whole-time member Kamlesh C Varshney said in the settlement order.
