New Delhi, Dec 17 (ANI): While we can count on crab as one of the tastiest delicacies of the seafood, its nervous system could help scientists learn what causes single neurons in the human brain to become out of whack, says a recent study. This can contribute to the development of neurological diseases like Alzheimer's disease, adds the study, which was published in the journal - Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Researchers worked to validate a popular research method called RNA sequencing used to identify unknown neurons in the brain and sort them into various subtypes.

ISRO's PSLV-C60 rocket carrying two spacecraft that would aid in demonstration of space docking, a critical technology for future space missions, lifted off from the spaceport here late on Monday.
Billed as a prelude to ISRO's setting up its own Space Station by 2035, the 44.5 metre tall Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) carried Spacecraft A and B, each weighing 220kg that would help in space docking, satellite servicing and interplanetary missions.
Upon the conclusion of the 25-hour countdown, PSLV-C60 in its 62nd flight lifted-off majestically, emanating thick orange colour fumes, from the first launch pad at this spaceport.
The lift-off was originally planned at 9.58 pm on Monday but ISRO authorities later rescheduled to 10 pm. However, there was no official information behind the reason for the rescheduling.
By mastering the space docking technologies, ISRO is set to enhance its operational flexibility besides expanding its mission horizons.

Net claims of non-residents on India declined by USD 19.8 billion during the second quarter of the current financial year to USD 348.5 billion in September 2024, according to RBI data released on Monday.
Higher rise in Indian residents' overseas financial assets (USD 66.5 billion) compared to that in the foreign-owned assets in India (USD 46.7 billion) led to a decline in net claims of non-residents during the quarter.
Net claims of non-residents on India is the difference between the assets and liabilities held by non-residents in India.
"Over 80 per cent of the increase in overseas financial assets during July-September 2024 was due to the surge of USD 53.8 billion in the reserve assets," said data on 'India's International Investment Position (IIP), September 2024'.
