Shimoga (Karnataka), May 05 (ANI): In a rare scenario, Mattur, a village in Karnataka's Shimoga is one of those rare villages in India whose people converse only in Sanskrit. Situated on the Tunga River banks, this village has become a rare example where traditions are kept intact as village dwellers read and study ancient texts like Vedas, Puranas among others.
