Bangkok (Thailand), Apr 04 (ANI): Thailand has made one of its largest ever busts of crystal meth. Police said Tuesday it was stopped on its way from Southeast Asia's notorious Golden Triangle. The haul is apparently over 1500 pounds - or 700 kilograms - worth of the drug. Officials also say that in Thailand, it would be worth $22 million dollars. Two locals and two Malaysian suspects were jailed in connection with the bust. The pills were on their way to neighboring Malaysia.

The government's artificial intelligence programme unit IndiaAI and Microsoft have partnered to train 5 lakh individuals, including students, educators, developers, government officials, and women entrepreneurs on AI by 2026, a senior company official said on Wednesday.
Microsoft India and South Asia President, Puneet Chandok told PTI that the USD 3 billion investment announced by the company's Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella will be on building tech, infrastructure and AI capacity and also on building the human capital in this country.
"We had announced training for 20 lakh people last year. We have already trained 24 lakh. We have announced to train 1 crore people over the next five years. We have also signed an MoU with IndiaAI mission and as part of that, 5 lakh people will be trained," Chandok said.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will leave for Tirupati on Thursday to visit those injured in a stampede, sources said.
Six devotees died and over 40 were injured in the stampede on Wednesday night as hundreds of them jostled for tickets for Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam at Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple on Tirumala Hills.
Naidu will be visiting SVR Ruia Government General Hospital and SVIMS Hospital between noon and 3 pm, where the injured are being treated, sources said.
The CM will also conduct a review meeting with the Executive Officer and others over the incident.
Tirupati district collector S Venkateswar on Wednesday told reporters that out of the six deceased devotees, five were women and a man.
One deceased person came from Salem in Tamil Nadu and another from Narsipatnam in Andhra Pradesh, he said.
According to the collector, the incident occurred at Bairagi Patteda near MGM School in the temple town.

In a significant reshuffle within the Finance Ministry, senior IAS officer Arunish Chawla has been reassigned from his position as revenue secretary to head the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), a move which comes three weeks ahead of the Union Budget.
DIPAM secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey has been appointed as the new revenue secretary in place of Chawla, according to a personnel ministry order. Pandey is also the finance secretary.
The changes come at a time when the Finance Ministry is working on the the Union Budget, scheduled for presentation on February 1. Wednesday's reshuffle is seen as the government's strategic adjustments as it gears up for the crucial financial planning period ahead.
