India surpasses US, Brazil on 7-day average of daily new coronavirus cases

India now accounts for 10.39 per cent of all active cases globally (one in every 10 active cases), and 6.66 per cent of all deaths (one in every 15). India has left even the US and Brazil behind in the seven-day average of daily new coronavirus cases.
