Security forces busted camps of two banned militant organisations while conducting search operations in Manipur's Imphal East district, police said on Thursday.
A hideout of the banned Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) at Makou Pourabi in Imphal East district was busted on Wednesday during which one air gun, one mobile handset and one bulletproof helmet were seized, they said.
Another training camp of the proscribed PREPAK also at Makou Pourabi was destroyed on Wednesday during which one INSAS LMG magazine, bayonet, five wooden dummy guns, two walkie-talkie sets, and cartridges were seized.

At least three schools hit by bomb threat emails have turned out to be a victims of their own students, Delhi Police has discovered.
One of the several schools that received bomb threats was Venkateshwar Global School, which received a threatening email a day after a mysterious blast occurred at the Rohini Prashant Vihar PVR Multiplex on November 28.
A police officer said the email was sent by two siblings enrolled in the school because they wanted the exams to be postponed.
During counselling, both students revealed that they had got the idea from previous incidents of bomb threats being made to schools, the officer said.
They were allowed to go after their parents were given a warning.
After the email was reported, police conducted a thorough check of the school and declared the threat to be a hoax.
According to another police officer, two more schools located in Rohini and Paschim Vihar were sent threatening emails by their students.

AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Saturday announced an internship named after him, aimed at providing city's youths with hands-on experience in leadership, public engagement, and election campaigns.
According to a statement, 'Internship with Manish Sisodia' offers college students and young professionals an opportunity to work closely with his team during the upcoming Delhi Assembly election.
"If you are interested in leadership and want to understand how leaders think, work, and run election campaigns, this program is for you," Sisodia said, according to the statement.
"It will provide insight into how public issues are addressed, teams are built, and meaningful dialogue with citizens is conducted. I welcome the youth of Delhi to join my election class and work alongside me during this campaign," he added.
The internship will be effective from the date of shortlisting until February 28, 2025, or the end of the Delhi Assembly elections 2025, whichever is earlier, the statement said.
