Asian Games 2023 LIVE | Women's Heptathlon- Nandini Agasara wins bronze

 

Nandini Agasara who was at the fifth position at the end of the Javelin throw event, won the 800m race and raced away to the bronze medal position in the women's Heptathlon. India's Swapna Barman finished third in the 800m race and has thus, finished in the fourth position, unable to get back to the podium having won the Gold in the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Games.

Asian Games 2023 LIVE | Men's Long Jump- India's Murli Sreeshankar wins a Silver

 

Tow Indians were in the fray and none could go near his best performance, yet Murli Sreeshankar with a jump of 8.19m remained only 3m away from the gold winner Chinese jumper and took Silver in the men's long jump event. Jeswin Aldrin finished in the 8th position.
