Tejaswin Shankar has managed to get a new personal best in the pole vault event and that would be a huge score for him as he now would have an opportunity to keep his lead intact in the overall rankings of the event. He currently stands at the number one position with only two more events- the Javelin Throw and 1500m race to come after the Pole Vault.

Asian Games 2023 LIVE | Men's Decathlon- Tejaswin Shankar equals personal best in Pole Vault

 
India's Teajswin Shankar has equalled his personal best in the pole vault discipline of the men's decathlon event. There is nop live broadcast available for the event as of now. But Shankar has had two tries at 3.8 and 3.9 but only one at 4.0. He is now in his second attempt for 4.10m.

Asian Games 2023 LIVE | Men's Archery- Ojas Deotale enters semi-final

 
This is now 4/4 for India as far as compound archery is concerned all of them make it to the semi-final. Ojas Deotale was the last one to enter the final after he had a 150-142 win over his Kazak opponent in the quarterfinal. Earlier, Abhishek Verma, Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Aditi Swami won their respective quarterfinals to make it to the semi-final.

India have yet another entrant in the semi-final of an archery event and it is Abhishek Verma who has entered the men's singles compound semi-final after beating his Kazak opponent in a shoot-off.

And a bye has been scampered for by Rinku who will face the last ball. 
 
Six!! Rinku Singh has managed to get the 200 for India with a six over covers on a low full toss. 
 
Since one ball was called wide. Rinku will have another chance to go big., But a brilliant effort in the field by Dipendera Singh restricts rInku to only two runs from the last ball. 
 
It looked like a certain six before a leaping Airee got hold of it and threw it back to the ground before landing outside the boundary ropes. With 25 from the last over, India finish at 202/4 in their 20 overs
