India were on top of the game right from the beginning of the match. Sukhjeet Singh was the first to open the scoring in the first quarter to give the men in blue an early lead, before Uttam Singh and Abhishek scored in the second and third quarters, respectively, to take the lead to 3-0. China were no match for the Indian attack as the Harmanpreet Singh-led men kept striking again and again to keep the hosts at bay and walk away with all three points from the game.</div>

			Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, Malaysia came back from 0-2 down against Pakistan to draw the match 2-2. After a goalless first quarter, Pakistan opened their account with the help of Sufyan Khan&rsquo;s 23rd-minute goal before Zikriya Hayat scored another goal in the 32nd minute to give Pakistan a 2-0 lead. However, Malaysia scored their first goal in the 36th minute to bring the scoreline to a one-goal difference. Pakistan were able to hold on to the lead for the better part of the final quarter, but Malaysia&rsquo;s Aiman Rozemi scored the equaliser to end the game with 2-2 on the scoreboard.</div>
