Sanjay then scored India&rsquo;s third goal in the second quarter to take his team 3-0 up. Japan tried to make a comeback by scoring their first goal of the game in the third quarter, but India, with the help of Uttam Singh and Sukhjeet Singh&rsquo;s goals in the fourth quarter, ended the match 5-1 in their favour.</div>

			Meanwhile, in the first match of the day, Korea and Pakistan played another thrilling match here on Monday. Korea opened the scoring with a 16th-minute goal to go 1-0 up in the game. The 2021 champions maintained the lead till the 59th minute. However, Pakistan scored twice within 30 seconds in the last minute to go 2-1 up in the game with only 28 seconds left on the clock. But just when Pakistan thought they had pulled off a miracle, Korea struck with 8 seconds left on the clock to end the match 2-2. This is the second successive draw for both these teams, as they both have only two points from two matches now.</div>
