Google has confirmed that the Pixel 8 series smartphones and Watch 2 will be available for pre-order in India from October 4, starting 8 PM (IST)

	At its Made by Google 2023 event, US-based technology giant Google launched the Pixel 8 series and the Pixel Watch 2. While the Pixel 8 is priced at Rs 75,999, the Pixel 8 Pro comes in at Rs 106,999. Meanwhile, the Pixel Watch 2 is priced at Rs 39,900. All the devices are available for pre-order, with availability starting on October 12, exclusively on e-commerce platform Flipkart.</p>

	<strong>Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro: What&#39;s new</strong></p>
<p>
	The Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch Actua display of 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the latest Tensor G3 chip, the Pixel 8 boasts a 50-megapixel main camera sensor, accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, the Pixel 8 sports a 10.5MP camera sensor positioned in a center-aligned display punch-hole.<br />

	Moving on to the Pixel 8 Pro, it boasts a larger 6.7-inch OLED display of variable refresh rate (1Hz-120Hz). Powered by the same Tensor G3 chip, it has a 48MP telephoto lens for up to 5x optical zoom in addition to the 50MP main camera sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The Pixel 8 Pro would feature a 10.5MP front camera sensor with autofocus, placed in a center-aligned display punch-hole.</p>

	<strong>Pixel Watch 2: What&#39;s new</strong></p>
<p>
	The Pixel Watch 2 share similarities with its predecessor, the first-generation Pixel Watch, but it comes equipped with new features. Made of 100 per cent recycled, the Pixel Watch 2 comes with powerful performance, all-day battery life (with always-on display), safety features and sensors for deeper health insights &mdash; including Google&rsquo;s heart rate tracking.</p>
