APM Terminals Pipavav Q1 results: Net profit jumps 62% to Rs 109.67 cr

APM Terminals Pipavav on Wednesday reported a 62 per cent growth in the consolidated net profit to Rs 109.67 crore in the June quarter over the corresponding quarter last fiscal, the company said. The private port operator had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 67.8 crore in the first quarter of FY24. Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 245.97 crore, which is 14 per cent higher compared to Rs 214.9-crore last year, the port operator said. Consolidated EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) was recorded at Rs 149.53 crore, growing by 41 per cent year-on-year from Rs 105.84 crore in Q1 FY23-24, it stated. According to the port operator, liquid volume grew 31.80 per cent to 345,000 MT and volume under Ro-Ro (services) grew to 39,000 units against 14,000 units in the corresponding period of last year. APM Terminals Pipavav Q3 results: Net profit rises 39% to Rs 110 cr

Private port operator APM Terminals Pipavav on Monday posted a 39 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 110.27 crore for the December quarter. It had posted a net profit of Rs 79.34 crore in the year-ago period, according to a statement. Revenue from operations for the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal was Rs 269.63 crore as against Rs 249.25 crore a year ago, APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Ltd) said. At the same time, the company said it delivered an Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) of Rs 159.30 crore, registering a growth of 13 per cent from Rs 140.38 crore in the year-ago period. The container cargo business for the quarter stood at 2,04,000 TEUs (Twenty foot equivalent units), an increase of 6 per year-on-year. APM Terminals Pipavav also handled 29,000 units of cars under the RoRo category, besides 589 container trains during the quarter, the operator added.

APM Terminals Pipavav consolidated profit rises 14% to Rs 68 cr in Q1

APM Terminals Pipavav on Wednesday reported a 14 per cent growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 67.82 crore for the June quarter. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 59.33 crore in the year-ago period, APM Terminals Pipavav, earlier known as Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd, said in a statement. Revenue from operations for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal was Rs 214.91 crore as against Rs 206.55 crore a year ago, it said. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the June quarter was Rs 105.84 crore as against Rs 111.64 crore a year back, the private port operator said. The container volume during the quarter grew 7 per cent to 1,99,000 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs), while the dry bulk volume fell 28 per cent to 0.67 million MT. The liquid volume was up 29 per cent at 0.26 million MT in the quarter under review while volume under Roll-on-Roll-off (Ro-Ro) surged 118 per cent to 14,000 units against 6,000 units a year ago,

Cyclone Biparjoy adversely impacts APM Terminals Pipavav Port in Gujarat

Cyclone Biparjoy, which hit the Gujarat coast on Thursday, has adversely impacted APM Terminals Pipavav Port even as it continues to monitor the situation, the private port operator has said. In an intimation to its customers, posted on its website on Friday, the port also said it is commencing certain landside operations with immediate effect following a considerable improvement in the weather conditions around the facility. "Cyclone Biparjoy impacts the APM Terminals Pipavav port operations adversely," it stated. In a filing to exchanges on June 12, the port operator said it has suspended operations from June 10. "Further to our trade advisory dated June 12, we see a considerable improvement in the weather conditions around Pipavav Port," it said. APM Terminals Pipavav Q4 profit rises 31%, Ebitda stands at Rs 129.94 cr

APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd) on Wednesday reported a 31 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 98.13 crore for the fourth quarter of the year ended March 2023. The company had reported a profit of Rs 75.09 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. According to a company statement, revenue from operations for the fourth quarter under consideration stood at Rs 234.73 crore as against Rs 219.67 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA for the quarter was Rs 129.94 crore from Rs 127.98 crore in Q4FY22. For the financial year ended March 31, 2023, the company reported a net profit of Rs 313.81 crore, growth of 59 per cent as compared with Rs 197.68 crore in FY22. APM Terminal liquid cargo business sees 133% growth

APM Terminal Pipavav, a part of APM Terminals Global Terminal Network, liquid cargo business is seeing huge growth in sync with the change export and import demand from Indian corporates.Accordingly, liquid cargo which includes LPG and Non LPG cargos [POL/Chemicals] has witnessed a sharp increase over the last two years while its volume of handling in bulk and container segments declined.The new focus is reflected in the company's performance over the last two years.
